BLACKBEARD'S BOOTY is a new form of dinner theater—interactive, improvised and fiercely funny! Loosely written and even more loosely directed by Frank O'Donnell, the show features some the fiercest and funniest characters ever to plunder the Seven Seas:

• Captain Thomas Tew—a Newport native who considered himself the Robin Hood of the High Seas
• Captain Henry Morgan—he parlayed his personal booty into ownership of a rum distillery, where he's the primary consumer
• Mary Read—one of the bravest and most ingenious lady pirates in recorded history
  
  Add in a few other colorful characters—like Katie the Cupboard, Yahoo the Pirate, our serving wench, Chastity Belt, and our music pirate, Nightshade Wonder—and you've got a night filled with belly laughs!
  Sir Francis Drake—a contemporary and rival of Blackbeard's—is your emcee for a night of great fun and great food.
  
  That's right. We'll fill your belly too, with outstanding pirate fare—like Seagull Scaloppini, Seaweed Salad, Piratini Pasta and more! (Don't worry, it's real food, we just gave it some piratical names!)

years ago, give or take, Blackbeard was the scourge of the Atlantic Coast. From the rocky shores of Maine to the sunny  beaches of the Bahamas, he was so feared that many captains surrendered their ships without a fight when Blackbeard's ship, The Queen Anne's Revenge, appeared on the horizon. In his lifetime, Blackbeard—known far & wide as King of the Pirates—amassed a fortune in gold, silver, gems and more – BLACKBEARD'S BOOTY!

Blackbeard's passing left a void in the pirate world. During the show, that void will be filled, with the election of the new Pirate King!

Witness history in the making—and participate in it too—as a new Pirate King is crowned before your very eyes! There's a lot at stake, including complete control over Blackbeard's Booty. And if you're very good—and vote the right way—perhaps the new Pirate King will take a likin' to you, and share the booty with you. But, he could just as easily make you walk the plank.
